Draw it once.
That’s your order.
Sized for every account.

Works with prop firms that offer cTrader.

Choose cTrader as your platform when you buy a challenge, then connect it to Trade Governor through the official cTrader sign-in.

Your firm isn’t listed? If it offers cTrader accounts, it will most likely work. Platform lists change, so check with the firm before you buy. Not affiliated with any prop firm. cTrader isn’t available to US residents.

How to set up with each firm →

Six things that cost prop traders their challenges — handled.

A typo in a stop-loss, a guessed lot size on gold, one trade too many after a loss, a trade against where the big money sits. Each one has a fix built in.

From the chart

“I retype every price from the chart.”

Draw a Long or Short Position on TradingView and click Load from chart. Entry, stop-loss, take-profit and direction come over by themselves — nothing to copy into an order ticket, no typo in your stop.

Long Position → entry 1.08420 · SL 1.08170 · TP 1.08920
Position size

“Lot math on gold and indices is guesswork.”

Every order is sized from your risk per trade using your broker’s own contract specification — forex, gold, indices, oil and crypto — and rounded down, so you never risk more than you planned.

XAUUSD · $15 stop · $500 risk → 0.33 lots
Multiple accounts

“Five accounts means five order tickets.”

Send the same trade to every cTrader prop account at once. Each account keeps its own risk settings, so a 100k and a 25k account each get the right lot size in one click.

100k · 0.5% → 2.00 lots | 25k · 1% → 1.00 lots
Overtrading guard

“Just one more trade after a loss.”

Set a maximum number of trades per day, week or month for each account. Once it’s used up, new orders on that account are blocked until the next period — no override in the heat of the moment.

“Am I trading against the big money?”

“My challenge ended and I didn’t notice.”

Balances refresh on their own, and an account cTrader no longer accepts — an ended challenge or missing access — is flagged with what to do, before you send an order to it.

From chart to order in one click.

  1. Connect cTrader

Sign in with Google and link your cTrader accounts through the official cTrader sign-in. Your broker login never touches Trade Governor.

  2. Set your rules

Choose risk per trade and a trade limit for each account. Different prop firms, different rules — each account keeps its own.

  3. Add the extension

Install Trade Governor for Chrome or Edge, open its side panel and click Sign in — no keys or tokens to copy.

  4. Trade from your chart

Draw a long or short position on TradingView, load it into the side panel and send it. Each selected account gets its own size, with stop-loss and take-profit attached.

Questions traders ask.

Which trading platforms does it work with?

cTrader only, for now. MetaTrader 4/5, Match-Trader and DXtrade aren’t connected; TradeLocker and Match-Trader are next on the list.

Which prop firms can I use it with?

Any firm that gives you a cTrader account — FTMO, Fintokei, FundingPips, The5ers and others. Choose cTrader as the platform when you buy the challenge. How to set up with each firm.

Can I use it in the US?

No. Prop firms don’t offer cTrader to US residents, and Trade Governor works only with cTrader so far.

Is my account safe? Do you see my password?

Your broker password never reaches Trade Governor. You connect through cTrader’s own sign-in page, the access tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect cTrader any time on the Accounts page.

Is it a trade copier? Will my prop firm allow it?

It isn’t a copier: there’s no master account. You place one trade and it sends a separate order to each account you pick, sized to that account. Trading your own strategy on your own accounts is generally allowed, but check your firm’s rules on capital caps and identical trades — see trading several FTMO accounts.

Which markets can I trade?

Forex pairs, gold, silver, indices, oil and crypto CFDs — whatever your firm offers on cTrader. Futures contracts such as NQ1! aren’t supported. All markets.

Do I need a paid TradingView plan?

Trade Governor doesn’t use TradingView alerts or webhooks. It reads the Long or Short Position you draw on the chart, so no alert or webhook features are needed.

Which browsers and apps does it work in?

Chrome or Edge on a computer, with your chart open on tradingview.com. It doesn’t run inside the TradingView desktop app or on phones; the web app at tradegovernor.app works on any device.

What happens when I hit my trade limit?

New orders on that account are blocked until the next day, week or month starts, depending on the period you set. Other accounts keep working with their own limits.

Where does the COT data come from?

From the CFTC’s weekly Commitments of Traders report: positions of large speculators (non-commercials) as of Tuesday, published on Friday. The US dollar is built from all seven currency futures. This week’s numbers are free; here’s how to read them.

What does it cost?

It’s free during the beta. Before any paid plan starts, you’ll hear from us at least 30 days ahead.
